TOP TIPS for producing your sketchbook and portfolio.
TOP TIPS
Try
TRY to follow a theme throughout the whole sketchbook
Time
Take your time on EVERY page, there is no rush. You shouldn’t have to spend more
than an hour per page.
Opt
If you have messy handwriting, you can opt to print pages and stick them in
(font no larger than 12). Don’t copy and paste information, it’s obvious and not
worth any marks
Add
Add your own creative flair to the sketchbook
Do Not
Use the examples to help you, but DO NOT copy. These are to help your remote learning.
This is a controlled assessment piece of work.
Titles
Ensure you have a title on every page, it makes things much easier for the assessor
when it comes to marking
Size
WJEC recommend that the products for GCSE are no larger than 300x300x300mm (an A4
sheet of paper is 297x210mm).
