End of Unit test

To check how you are progressing with your skills, you will complete one of two graphics skills tests. These tests will not have a tutorial and require you to use the skills that you have learnt. These will form the basis of your final assessment so its important that you try your hardest with this test. You can choice one from the following two tests shown below…….


CONTEXT 1

A new company called Toys for Tots are due to open. They sell traditional hand made wooden toys and are wanting a poster advertising the toys that they sell.
 

You are to choose at least 2 different toys and create a perspective drawing of them

You can use either one point or two point perspective drawings or both.

You must also demonstrate the use of crating skills to plan your objects dimensions

You must use rendering to show the materials the products are made from.

If you are more confident, you may wish to use all skills together.

Extra credit will be given to drawings that make use of colour and additional details

CONTEXT 2

A new estate agents company are due to build and sell new housing and are wanting a traditional poster THAT advertises the new houses.
 

You are to choose at least 2 views of these houses and create a perspective drawing of them

You can use either one point or two point perspective drawings or both.

You must also demonstrate the use of crating skills to plan your objects dimensions

You can show interior views

If you are more confident, you may wish to use all skills together.

Extra credit will be given to drawings that make use of colour and additional details
