E-portfolio
An E-Portfolio is also known as an electronic portfolio or digital portfolio. It is an excellent way to present your work. An E-Portfolio allows you to correct mistakes quickly and easily, it allows you to present your work using a variety of different media such as photographs, videos, CAD (computer Aided Design), scanned ideas, MP3 etc.

Design is the method of putting form and content together. Design, just as art, has multiple definitions; there is no single definition. Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that's why it is so complicated

Paul Rand

There is no "right" way to prepare a design portfolio. A different portfolio is appropriate for each person, each situation and each project.  An electronic portfolio helps to develop key ICT skills and you can use a range of software packages to produce your portfolio, word, power-point, photo-shop, web design software, etc.

The pages in your portfolio must demonstrate that you can quickly and effectively communicate ideas in a professional manner. Make an effort to communicate your level of skill with a wide variety of techniques, drawings and CAD. This may include a range of software packages, drawing skills, colour, composition, model making, production techniques, manufacturing/fabrication, CAD, 3D modelling.

The quality of your work and your presentations is much more important than a fancy, unique, or tricky presentation. Keep it simple, and let the work stand for itself. Now its time to start at the beginning and layout the basic outline for your portfolio design. In this example we will use Power Point.
